A Crazy Heart is a drama, music style movie. It was released in December of 2009 and is still playing in some theaters now. The star of the movie is none other than Jeff Bridges. A true Hollywood icon. For reviews it got an eight out of ten so that’s not too bad.
The four time academy award nominee Jeff Bridges does star in this movie as the crazy comic, occasionally romantic, anti hero Bad Blake. This is his debut movie. The old country singer is down on his luck and doesn’t know which way to turn, he was once a high time singer that people loved to listen too, but now his luck has changed. The hard living country singer was actually singing from events in his own life, and yet that’s what a lot of the country artists do.
But the singer has had it rough, way too many girlfriends and marriages, too many years of being on the road and way too much drinking. Although, someone does find him a journalist that believes there is still something inside worth loving. So, she pours her heart out to him hoping that he will open up to her too.
This movie did well on the five star rating scale it got three stars, and in addition, thumbs up. He wasn’t anything until he met her. She sees the true and real man behind the musician and as he struggles down the road of redemption he learns the bad and hard way that can be tough even on a man’s crazy heart.
