There have been reports that with Pirates of the Caribbean on Stranger Tides hitting theaters in May of 2011, there have actually been talks of having a fifth installment of the film. Of Course, Johnny Depp is more than ready to play Captain Jack Sparrow for another film. He says he would be happy to play the part again. As long as they can put all the puzzle pieces together, he would most definitely consider it.
In the fourth film, Captain Jack Sparrow crosses paths with the enigmatic Angelica but he’s not sure if it is love, or if she is a ruthless con artist who is using him to find the fabled fountain of youth. When she forces him aboard the Queen Anne’s Revenge, the ship of the legendary Blackbeard, Jack finds himself on an unexpected adventure in which he doesn’t know who to fear more. Blackbeard or Angelica, with whom he shares a mysterious past.
The international cast includes franchise vets Geoffrey Rush as the vengeful Captain Hector Barbossa and Kevin R. McNally as Captain Jack’s longtime comrade, plus as a stalwart missionary and Astrid Berges Frisbey as a mysterious mermaid.
As you can see, there is more than enough to go into a fifth installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, and Johnny Depp is up for the part. He has had a blast filming the other installments and feels he is still up for another installment.
