Jeremy Renner Joins The Bourne Legacy

After a long search, Universal pictures have found their lead for the Bourne Legacy, which is meant to spinoff from the franchise that introduced Matt Damon, Jason Bourne’s character and its Jeremy Renner.
This is not a reboot or a recast or a prequel. No one’s replacing Matt Damon. There will be a whole new hero, a whole new chapter. This is a stand alone project.
The easiest way to think of it is an expansion or a reveal. Jason Bourne will not be in this film, but he is very much alive what happened in the first three films is the trigger for what happens. They are building a legend and an environment and a wider conspiracy. The world they are making enhances and advances and invites Jason Bourne’s return down the road.
This action packed film will be released on August 3rd 2012. It is being released by Universal Pictures. The adventure and thriller type movie will have you on the edge of your seat in suspense as to what is going to happen next.
