Ian McKellen Updates From The Hobbit

Ian McKellenGrandalf himself, Ian McKellen, has offered an update from near the Wellington set of the Hobbit. The actor just posted the following on the internet. He told sources he was visiting old friends in the stone street offices and heard Martin Freeman was just around the corner by the green screen, done up as Bilbo. While it may be a little while before Lord of the Rings fans get to see Bilbo in 3D for themselves, McKellen’s description should certainly evoke a sense of excitement, chasing away any doubt of further delays. After many years, The Hobbit is finally on its way.
The expected release date for the Hobbit is sometime in December of 2012. It is of course being released by Warner Bros. Pictures. This action adventure, fantasy style and sci-fi movie will keep you in suspense wondering what is going to happen next. It is starring Ian McKellen, Andy Serkis, John Callen, Martin Freeman, James Nesbitt, Adam Brown, Elijah Wood and many others. The two Hobbit films, the Hobbit and its sequel are scheduled to be shot simultaneously, with pre production beginning as soon as possible. Originally principal photography was tentatively set for a 2009 start, with the intention of the Hobbit release slated for 2012 and its sequel the following year of 2013. Now, however dates for release could be different. Be sure to check back for additional information and details. If we get new updates we will be sure to pass them on to you.
