Its crazy now how the golden globe awards keep turning and going. Some people claim that we have a voice in the total decision, in order to actually voice my opinion, which I know didn’t really happen. I suppose you could say the decision comes from the availability of the person, some has to do with the fans, while yet other has to do with the popularity of the celebrity and how many times he or she ends up in the front of a camera to be photographed now. Simply because the actresses will be ready for the camera. In other words there won’t be any so called natural shots.
There are some rude things that get said at the actors guilds really. Back biting, people who believe they should have gotten certain award and someone else got the award. You would not believe the talk that actually circulates for many of the actresses and not just the women the men are just as bad if not worse. Sometimes they talk about knowcking them out of their seats and how so and so shouldn’t get it he’s dating a married woman and wouldn’t she like to know. It is truly awful when the camera’s aren’t rolling and the guild goes to a commercial. I have never actually heard of a fight breaking out however a shouting match did break out last year about an award, and that was bad enough. Can you imagine how the fans must’ve felt when people they really like are mad at each other over an award. Yes it’s a prestigious award but it can be won again.
To me the globe will keep turning and so will the winners of the guild awards so why fret over something you can get in another 365 days? It just doesn’t make sense to me, because an award and respect go hand in hand. If people don’t respect you how are you going to keep fans?
