Sony has revealed the teaser trailer for Arthur Christmas, coming to 3D in November of 2011. It will be directed by Sarah Smith and Barry Cook. Sony Pictures animation and Aarman Animations comedy feature the voices of James McAvoy and other cast members you can watch the teaser trailer online.
Set on Christmas night the story of Arthur Christmas at last reveals the incredible, never before seen answer to every child’s question So how does Santa deliver all those presents in one night? The answer is simply really he has an ultra high tech operation hidden beneath the north pole. But at the heart of the film is a story with the ingredients of a Christmas classic. A family in a state of comic dysfunction and an unlikely hero, Arthur with an urgent mission that must be completed before Christmas morning dawns.
The cast is a good natured but a comical clumsy side of them are really willing to help Arthur and get the toys to the children in time. Nighy plays santa’s 136 year old father, a cranky old codger who hates the modern world. He is always condemning and putting things down when it comes to Christmas time as he believes things are going to fast and it was nothing like it used to be years ago. He would rather call it a mailman with a spaceship. This is a comedy and family style movie and individuals who love Christmas stories will love to go to theaters and see this one. Of course starring James McAvoy leaves everyone laughing in this film and the ultimate decision of how Christmas should really be.
