Britt Reid is the son of Los Angeles’ most prominent and respected media magnate and perfectly happy to maintain a directionless existence on the party scene, until his father dies leaving him his media empire. It is then he decides he wants to do something with his life, so with a friend of his father’s they see their chance to do something meaningful for the first time in their lives fight crime. But in order to do this, they decide to become criminals themselves however protecting the law by breaking it. They become vigilantes of the Green Hornet as he and his friend hit the streets.
Using all his ingenuity and skill Kato builds the ultimate retro weaponry and creates an indestructible car with not only horsepower but fire power as well. The Green Hornet and Kato quickly start making a name for themselves, and with the help of the new secretary they begin hunting down the man who controls LA’s gritty underworld but they have plans of their own; the underground plan to swat down the green hornet for the last time.
