Dear John is set to be released in February of 2010 and the box offices are hoping it will be a success. The movie is meant to touch people of all types and the overall theme of the movie is the concept of a woman writing to a soldier who dearly clings to the letters she has written. In essence, it is these letters that keep the soldier going, having faith, and having the courage to do his duty and go home to her. However, the movie takes a certain turn that no one is ready for and at the risk of telling too much about the movie you will just have to go see it when it is released.
Much like other drama movies this is one that is going to be heart wrenching and that was the entire idea behind the directors and producers motivation for the scenes throughout the movie. Some people that have already watched the trailers that are available on different web sites via the Internet say that it is something like the movie P.S. I Love You; however that’s not necessarily true it is just a love story of sorts similar to that of this movie. In this movie Dear John the young soldier can’t help but fall in love with the young college student and they know they are meant to be together forever but is that what really happens?
Different trailers for Dear John will show different scenes so it depends on where you go to watch the trailers, you can also watch different advertisements for movies that are coming soon. This is going to ultimately be one of the best love and drama movies for the beginning of the year 2010. Be ready to feel happy and sad at the same time. What a movie!
