The two movies in theaters now have been sending box ...

The two movies in theaters now have been sending box office sales through the ceiling. However, Avatar was hanging on to its first place since the two were first released. And yet, now over super bowl weekend the movie Dear John has jumped into first place in sales and bumped Avatar off of its podium.

Avatar slipped to number two and now more people are expected to even go see Dear John as the holiday of love gets closer. What is it about this movie that people are liking so much? It’s a love story and a romance and a great movie to take your sweetheart to. Avatar was getting close to the records in sales of Titanic and Dear John just kind of lingered behind although that all ended this weekend. Now that it is number one the producers and director of this movie feel a lot better. They knew they had a good movie and here is the proof.

It had to happen sometime right? Well what are your thoughts? We’d love to hear from you. Have you been to see either movie and if so which one did you like the best? Or were they the same to you? Avatar held onto number one for 15 weeks that’s longer than many other movies in fact it is a record. Held by the movie the Titanic of course.

Now that Dear John has sent its message how long will it hold on to being number one? As more individuals go to see this romantic movie only time will tell. It has been close to Avatar but never ahead that is, until now.

Be sure to check back and get follow up information about how many stars this movie receives and where it goes from here. Maybe there will be talk of a sequel to it as people are literally claiming it is phenomenal.
