Dear John Bumps Off Avatar Over Weekend

The two movies in theaters now have been sending box office sales through the ceiling. However, Avatar was hanging on to its first place since the two were first released. And yet, now over super bowl weekend the movie Dear John has jumped into first place in sales and bumped Avatar off of its podium.

Avatar slipped to number two and now more people are expected to even go see Dear John as the holiday of love gets closer. What is it about this movie that people are liking so much? It’s a love story and a romance and a great movie to take your sweetheart to. Avatar was getting close to the records in sales of Titanic and Dear John just kind of lingered behind although that all ended this weekend. Now that it is number one the producers and director of this movie feel a lot better. They knew they had a good movie and here is the proof.
