The Countdown to Zero movie is going to be released in July of 2010. It is being released by Magnolia pictures. It is a documentary on certain times of the cold war and the screenwriter as well as the director hope it goes over well at the theaters.
In the cold war, there was nothing so terrifying as the bomb in the publics eye. And when the Soviet’s so called empire collapsed, this bomb soon turned into another important time period for the people. All felt nothing but fear and danger and the concept and threat of a nuclear bomb had everyone concerned.
And the overall urgency of getting rid of nuclear warheads was very strong during this part of history in the era of politics, not to mention people were simply frightened by the thought of what they were and are capable of doing.
With this being said, this commentary is an awareness program for people of all ages. We have now undergone our second nuclear age, and still there are some people who are terrified about the concept of nuclear weapons being used should war break out between two countries. Nuclear weapons and mass productions are to have ceased but who really knows if they have. It is not that easy to find out, however there are several nations that comply with the no nuclear concept and agree to disarm and destroy them.
Countdown to Zero is a wonderful yet terrifying look and the dangers of nuclear weapons and letting people know just where our world and the different countries stand as far as the nuclear weapons are concerned.
