The movie Blind Side is in theaters now and some people aren’t too thrilled with the plot. Of course Sandra Bullock is in the movie as a wealthy white lady that seems to adopt a young black boy and gets him out of the ghetto. It portrays Bullock as a goody do gooder. In reality anyone that sees any movie knows that execution of that movie is everything, and well that just doesn’t show much in this movie.
And yet, it’s a good movie and many people are getting their tickets to see it although its not as popular as the directors and producers of the movie would have expected. It is the opinion of some people that it just came out at the wrong time, in essence there are other movies playing in theaters now that just seem to be better. So was it just a bad time for this movie? On the five star scale the movie only received two stars on web site so that tells you something is amiss.
It’s hard to decide on this movie whether its good or not. On one side you have an inspirational story about a boy and football, while on the other side you have a clear dialogue that is somewhat embarrassing. The casting was nearly a disaster however they did get the film released although it could be one of those films that falls through the entertainment cracks and just comes out on DVD a little sooner than expected. There are web sites that have trailers on them where you can view scenes from the film Blind Side but there are those fans that have closed their eyes in the concept that they have decided not to go see it. All in all it is a good movie, did it just come out at the wrong time, that is one opinion.
