A family that is totally dysfunctional and can’t get along at all live in the Bronx spare no lengths at hiding or avoiding the truth about the messed up way of life they live. It is a family comedy with somewhat of a dark sided twist to it. The patriarch of the family known as Vince is a prison guard who is moonlighting as becoming an actor.
But as he is taking his acting lessons of course on the down low, his own daughter is doing the stripper job thing while his younger child secretly eludes them all with a fetish that involves their three hundred pound neighbor. This is a comedy that you will not want to miss and the City Island movie is crazy to say the least. And under normal circumstances, which there are none in the City Island movie whatsoever, the mother of all these people would be the family cornerstone, however she too hides her own secret about the hired help, and of course her husband does know about it.
There are people that are going to be scratching their heads over this comedy I can guarantee that just by the way it ends and that’s something of its own colorful design as well. When this movie comes out in theaters people won’t want to miss it. You will be laughing for days after you have seen the movie. Directors and producers are hoping it will do well in the box offices although it is a movie like City Island that some individuals might not make any sense whatsoever, although those are usually the movies that are the most hilarious.
