A film that is being released by CBS films, and going to be released in March of 2011. There were reports that individuals were able to visit the set of the upcoming film. The director is Daniel Barnz and he is hoping the film goes over well in theaters. The film is starring Vanessa Hudgens, Alex Pettyfer, Mary Kate Olsen, Neil Patrick Harris, Peter Krause and others. It is a romance style film and it is rated PG 13 for crude comments and brief violence. Beastly is an edgy teen romance about learning how to see past false surfaces to discover true inner beauty.
A boy has it all looks, intelligence, wealth and opportunity, and a wicked cruel streak. Prone to mocking and humiliating aggressive unattractive classmates, he zeroes in on a Goth classmate by inviting her to the school’s extravagant bash. The goth girl accepts, and true to form he blows her off in a particularly savage way. She retaliates by casting a spell that physically transforms him into everything he despises. Enraged by his horrible and unrecognizable appearance he confronts the gothic girl and learns that the only solution to the curse is to find someone to love him as he is. A quest he considers impossible. This is going to be a cool film and as they visited the set they knew they are getting close to being complete with the shooting. The actors and actresses are very excited about the release of this film as it just goes to show that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
As stated above this film is to be released in March and when it is released there are people who have already shown an interest in the film. So it is probably going to be one of those movies that people see and want to go and see again.
