Sometimes these people don't get enough credit, however they are somewhat behind the scenes anyway, and for some that's how they like it. I am talking about stunt doubles and what they do. Stunt doubles do alot for movies and films that are created. So, in essence who are stunt doubles? Stunt doubles are brought into the movie when there is a dangerous scene and the film makers don't want the actual actors to get hurt. This doesn't mean that the stunt double is going to get hurt either, it just means he or she is able to do the scene better and they are willing to risk more.
For example if there is a scene where an actor is hanging off of the back of a truck just dangling there, the movie is stopped, and the stunt double that looks like the actor is brought in for that scene. Then once again the movie is stopped and after that scene the real actor starts shooting again. Its the same way for female actors as well. When the stunt double is brought in he or she must also look like the original actor. In some situations more steps are taken so no one gets hurt. Another example would be that in a car chase where cars are getting crushed and crashed it will probably be the stunt double behind the wheel of the car instead of the actor. Stunt doubles are people who take the place of the actor or actress so they don't get hurt, and what they do is take the risks that the director doesn't want the real actor to take. Most stunt doubles are behind the scenes and ready to go if they are needed.
However, on the other hand there are actors that will do the actual stunts for his or her self. A good example there would be Jackie Chan. Alot of the stunts that are done in the movies he is starring in, he will do the stunts on his own. And there are other actors who will do the same thing. Some times the director doesn't like it when they do this but the actors and actresses feel as though its better if they do it.
