Why Are There So Many Comic Character Remakes

Ok, I can understand how they might put bat man or spider man in theaters, and maybe even superman; however have you seen all the cartoon characters they are putting in the movies now? What is it they can't come up with better material? I counted at least 10 cartoon character movies, and some of which are quite good. Yet, there are others that needed to stay on paper or animated.


Having real people renact a comic book character or a cartoon character is just going to far if you ask me. The concept of knowing they are even going to be in theaters can be annoying. If you do a bit of searching you will see for yourself just how many there really are. And even the bat man, spider man idea went too far really. They had more than one movie that came out in theaters.

I am glad they did well for the box offices but I bet the people that seen those movies didn't run out and buy them. Watching the movie cartoon character or comic book character is enough and people aren't going to go spend more money out on it. And even some of the television series shows are being made into movies like these screenwriters or whoever it is can't come up with new material or something. I remember going to see the Dukes of Hazard Movie I seen it one time and thought it was really different. But why shouldn't it seem weird to me when I got used to seeing other actors doing the show on television for several episodes.

I know I am only one person and I don't speak for everyone but putting cartoon characters and comic book characters in a movie over and over again is getting somewhat annoying. Come up with some new stuff Hollywood, or theaters are going to suffer don't you think?
