According to sources the Motley Crue singer Vince Neil is heading to court on a plea deal that gets him two weeks of jail time, plus two weeks of house arrest for driving drunk last summer new the Las Vegas Strip.
Neil is due to plead guilty Wednesday morning before a Las Vegas justice of the peace to misdemeanor driving under the influence. He’s expected to begin serving his sentence in February after his fiftieth birthday. Neil’s lawyer stated he is taking responsibility for his actions. The rocker could have faced up to six months in jail if he went to trial and lost his case.
There are individuals who feel as though the punishment doesn’t fit the crime. There are many people who have to do jail time, community service, go through some type of rehab, or AA meetings. This way the judge decides what happens to him. Lets just hope that he won’t do it again and that he has learned his lesson. There are a lot of people who love the group Motley crue and no one would want to have something bad happen to Vince Neil. His fans are standing behind his decision and the judge’s decision and those that are die hard Motley Crue fans are glad he didn’t get hurt driving drunk down the Las Vegas Strip.
