Ty Pennington the host of ABC’s extreme makeover Home Edition is creating a daytime talk show for fall of 2012. This was confirmed on Friday. The talk show is being planned to go along with the end of Ty’s contract with Extreme Makeover which will end in the Spring of 2012.
This host that many people love got his start in reality television that led to TLC’s Trading Spaces. Known for his devotion and dedication, his high energy and awesome creativity, Ty made himself a household name when ABC picked him to host the heartwarming home transformation show that is to change the lives of certain families in need.
Ty’s news about the daytime talk show comes just a few months after Oprah Winfrey announced that she would no longer be a daytime host which was set to happen in the fall of 2011. She was leaving the daytime shows which allowed for a new queen or king of talk show hosting to be declared. Ty is excited about this new change in his career and he is hoping he is as good at daytime talk show hosting as he was loved on the Home Edition of Extreme Makeover.
In addition, because of his dedicated fans from the Extreme Edition of Home Edition he is relying on them to follow him to his daytime talk show and that the ratings will be exceptionally high for his show. There is one thing he loves and that is his fans, he has always been dedicated to them for putting him first in the Extreme Makeover shows. If there isn’t a Ty Pennington for the show many viewers probably won’t watch it. That is their choice. It is for this reason he hopes they follow him to ABC and his new daytime talk show hosting career.

I like your Extreme Home Makeover on BBC Lifestyle that we watch monday to Friday on our Zimbabwean DSTV channel BBC lifestyle. This is an amazing programme and you have such a heart and passion to change people”s lives for the better. I was touched by the Brown family story and the the one of a single father with his five boys. That was very touchy and very emotional for me. Being a single mother in my country it is not easy and you can hardly come by a person with such a heart like yours and all members of your team. You really compliment each other. Continue with the passion and you do not realise how much you have also touched the lives of those of us here though indirectly. Just by seeing you touching many people”s lives like that is enough for me.
