According to sources Paula Abdul is optimistic that American Idol will indeed survive after the departure of Simon Cowell. According to Paula she claims she doesn’t foresee an ending to the show the American Idol. There could be a few changes to the show however it will be more successful than ever. And that is her opinion about the show.
While other sources feel the same way although Simon did keep people watching the show because of his candor there are judges now that can do the same thing. And no matter how hard they try they will never be able to truly replace Simon Cowell. You might come close however getting someone just like him just won’t be possible.
Paula left the show in 2009 but she remained in contact with Simon who was struggling with the decision of leaving the show himself. He left the show to go to the U.K. And he is doing great there. Simon has been missed by some of the performers that had given them the thumbs up basically however everyone knew he was going to leave the show at the end because it was all he had to talk about.
Simon left American Idol after the last season to host the show known as the X factor. Meanwhile American Idol has new judges and is still going strong too. It takes a lot to be a judge for this show to know which ones that perform are better than others however it isn’t impossible. The show isn’t going to go downhill simply because Simon is no longer there as a judge.
