According to sources the teen mom star Amber Portwood is reportedly back together with her baby girl. The twenty year old mom was reunited with her two year old daughter, Leah, on Monday after Indiana officials returned the toddler to her mom.
According to sources, “Leah is moving into Amber’s new home, where Amber had her daughter’s bedroom all set up for her return,” the source says of Portwood, who lives in Anderson, Indiana. “Amber is so excited to have Leah back!”
At one point, Portwood and ex-fiance Gary Shirley agreed that the child did need to live with Shirley because her life was so chaotic at the time. Amber herself previously admitted that having her daughter live with her ex-fiance was in the child’s best interest. Child Protective services agreed it was safer for her to stay at her father’s care because of all the photographers outside Portwood’s house. It has been a rocky road for the reality mom. In essence they have been working back and forth to attempt to make things better for the little Leah. Amber is ready for Leah to come home now.
Other sources have said that Amber had been charged with two felony counts and one misdemeanor count of domestic violence and battery, for her alleged actions against Gary Shirley, 24. Additionally, others reported that authorities had launched a full investigation into Amber, after she was seen kicking and punching Gary on the MTV while their daughter was in the room. Amber tearfully spoke about the violence however she claimed she don’t remember do anything like that. She believed she only hit him one time.
