According to sources Taylor Swift was among the honorees at the event. She was not inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, although she did receive the Hal David Straight Award, this pays tribute to young songwriters who have promise.
Mayer a friend of Taylor Swift’s got to present her with the award claiming she was no accident that her music is awesome. He spoke that you could put her in a time machine and it wouldn’t matter what generation she ended up in, her singing and songwriting would most definitely fit in.
Taylor Swift is extremely talented and she is having a lot of success in her singing and recording career. She goes on tours and just recently decided to have a meet and greet session with her fans. She feels that the fans are the ones that keep her inspired and willing to do the songs she does. Her song “You Belong To Me” is apparently a hit among teenage girls too. She has several fans and they range in the age category. Men and women alike and of all ages love to hear her sing.
If you have the chance to go to one of her concerts and see her perform and sing live you won’t regret it. She is simply phenomenal. She had a great time at the songwriters Hall and it only made her more determined to do the music that she knows her fans are going to like. Taylor is a 20 year old superstar with the music that she has put out already and she doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon.
