According to sources Susan Sarandon has finally opened up about her break up with Tim Robbins last year after more than two decades together. In an interview with sources the actress hinted that the couple may have naturally come to the conclusion of their relationship.

When the news of Susan and Tim’s split first came to the knowledge of the public, reports linked the actress to her much younger business partner, but Susan said she kept her cool about the reports and thought they were humorous. You have to have a sense of humor she claimed there are a lot of people in my life at the moment. Beyond all of the rumors, the news of Tim and Susan’s break up prompted people to come up to the actress and share their own sadness. People were literally coming up to the actress on the street and claimed that they cried when they heard the two were breaking up after so long.
The actress has only been married just once, at the age of 20 to another man, and her and Tim never did make the relationship official. She has always liked the idea of being able to choose who she will be with and the break up even made the British papers as well as rumors hitting all over in Hollywood. She thought if you didn’t get married you wouldn’t take each other for granted so easily. However, this proves that relationships no matter how long they are, don’t always last.
