Sugarland Plans Indiana Benefit Concert

SugarlandThere have been reports that Sugarland will stage a free concert in Indianapolis on October 28th, 11 weeks after a stage collapsed on fans killing seven people. And just before the country singers were to go on. The band announced Friday that Conseco Fieldhouse concert will be the last show of its tour that special guest performers will be announced later.
The group was about to take the stage for an August 13th concert when a gust of wind blew over the stage rigging, five fans, a security guard, and a stagehand died from their injuries and more than 40 other people were hurt, some very seriously.
The band says that donations to an assistance fund for the collapse victims will be collected during this month’s show.
The performers are more than willing to help and they told sources that they were hoping for a great turnout so the more fans come the more donations there will be for the victims and their families too.
Sugarland is one of the best country duos in country music today and they have several albums out in the music industry today. They have also been on the billboard charts.
