According to sources after about nine years of marriage Slash and his wife Perla are separating. The former Guns and Roses guitarist who is now 45 years old, filed for a divorce on Monday in L.A. county superior court. Citing irreconcilable difference and July 15 as the date of separation.
It was confirmed by other sources that the divorce papers were filed and this wasn’t simply a separation to take a break from one another. The guitarists marriage is in fact ending. The couple were married in October of 2001 and they have two sons together. London who is eight years old, and Cash who is four years old. Slash is seeking joint custody, and legal custody of the children.
And yet in March of 2009, the rocker claimed it was his family lifestyle that had literally calmed him down from his rocking ways. Letting his fans know that he had gotten rid of and stopped doing everything that he was doing before he had gotten married and had a family to take care of. Basically telling his fans and the world that they assisted him in cleaning up his act.
Guns and Roses the group has been around for over a decade and they have had several top ten and number one rock music hits and videos. They often played on tour and are currently touring as well. This isn’t going to stop the guitarist from doing what he loves to do and that is play his music however he says that it will be a little different now and that his children will take top priority in his life. There’s nothing more important than his children.
