According to sources the former American Idol Judge, Simon Cowell says he is happy that Steven Tyler will take his place. Simon Cowell believes it had to be someone who wasn’t better looking than he was and they achieved that goal he said jokingly.
Other sources claim that he poked fun at the International Emmy Awards about the Aerosmith front man and told them to simply just have a lot of fun at what they are doing. He believes that Steven Tyler will be adequate in the sense of filling his shoes, and knows he will be the perfect candidate for the job. However, he stopped short of saying the rock star would damage his credibility by being on the show. That is just the way it is, people in many ways will talk short about him and he will obtain a reputation just as Simon Cowell did. Although Simon is hoping that won’t happen. Simon Cowell says the role of judge is something that Tyler wants to do and that it is a fun job. You got to take it like that. And in Simon’s opinion don’t take it too seriously.
Simon Cowell admitted that he was something of a bad guy on the television series American Idol but at the same time he had a great time doing what he was doing. The rest of the judging panel were all terrific to work with in his opinion although there have been several changes since then. Now Simon has his own show and he is doing great, at times he does miss American Idol but on that note he loves what he is doing right now.
