Many of the previous winners from American idol were on hand at the showing of American Idol’s finale, and it was also Simon Cowell’s last night there too. According to sources Simon actually got emotional and talked about everyone being judges and those who he had seen make their way through the show and onto bigger and better things.
Simon’s comments were the show goes forward, and these were heartfelt words, in a quote Simon said seeing all of these contestants back ,that’s what makes the show. He commented about who would replace him and even told Ryan he would miss him as well.
Simon didn’t realize just how many contestants had been on the show, there were even some that were rejected there just to show honor to the man. “Yea he was a cruel judge one of the contestants replied but he was always fair if you askin me”. And this was a contestant that was cut last season. Simon will be doing other things now, like starting a show called the X factor. There will be a replacement for Simon however it hasn’t been mentioned yet just who might be the next judge for the show American Idol.
There have been times when Simon has literally made contestants cry with his verbal bashing and yet through it all a lot of them were there and on hand. There was one that got a bit out of hand and the show had to quickly go to a commercial but it was nothing really. It didn’t seem to bother Simon at all, he was concentrating more on the others anyway.
