It has been less than a year since Robin Wright decided to file for divorce from Sean Penn, Sean Penn age 49 says his ex feels like an apparition. In his own words he claims she is a ghost to him now. They spent many years together and now she is just gone.
Sources say the former couple filed for divorce then reconciled and then filed for divorce again. They agreed that they would divide their assets equally and share custody of their 16 year old son. Sean Penn is an Oscar Winning actor and said he has now turned his attention to help rebuild Haiti. Haiti was hit by a devastating earthquake in January and they are still trying to rebuild.
The actor also told sources that there isn’t an exit for him until there is more life than death. His comment was he can always see the light in any problem or situation. He guesses that is the way he is made. He admitted he was perfectly capable of making stupid decisions and commitments but he is only human. And he said at times he can be a fool; but yet he can see the light clearly in the aspect of helping rebuild Haiti. It is just something he needs to do.
According to Sean his ex wife is a ghost to him now and he has moved on. Looking forward is better than looking back on the past. You can learn from the past however you don’t have to live in the past. He stated many Americans can learn a lot from the people in Haiti and the struggles they are going through.
By referring to the people of Haiti he said that there is somewhat of a strength in people who have never experienced comfort. And supposedly that’s also what we need in the United States. He will do whatever it takes to be one of those people that helps Haiti see the future as a bright light.
