Russell Crowe Visits The Colosseum Arena A Decade After Gladiator

According to sources it was a touching yet awesome experience for Russell Crowe who recently visited the Colosseum a decade after doing the movie the Gladiator. Crowe was given a tour Friday of the two thousand year old arena and presented with a medal.

It seems Crowe won the Oscar for best actor for his portrayal of fallen Roman general Maximus. The colosseum that was essentially in the movie was a recreation through technology and computers. But the arena looked just like the real thing after they had finished it completely.

Crowe enjoyed the tour a decade later but it was weird that the two thousand arena still looks about like it did when he was there. He told sources it meant a lot to him to be able to tour it again, and that the one they did in reenactment was just like the one they were touring. The people who do that have to be good at what they do.

The memories of Gladiator were brought up as they walked around talking about the movie. Crowe is just out of the Cannes film festival where he presented his new movie Robin Hood. There are those who believe that he was awesome in Gladiator and he is going to be even better in Robin Hood. But Crowe is a good actor.

Robin Hood is also a good movie and it is going to show the best of Russell Crowe too. And a decade from now he can walk through the forest where they created Robin Hood.

If you have comments about his visit to the colosseum we would be glad to hear your comments about it. You can post it here or in one of the many different forums on this web site.
