The reports came in that Russell Armstrong, estranged spouse of Real Housewives Star, Russell Armstrong found dead on Monday night at the age of 47, a rep for the coroners office confirmed. The Los angeles city fire department pronounced dead at 8:16 on Monday sources were told. Russell an investment banker, was found at his home in West Los Angeles , the coroner added. The department is treating his death as a suicide but an official determination will be confirmed on Wednesday after further examination.
Taylor issued a statement through her rep on Tuesday afternoon. She stated that Taylor was devastated by the tragic events that have unfolded. She requests privacy at this time so that she may comfort her yo9ung daughter the reality star said in a statement. Her thoughts and prayers also went out to his sons who were 11 and 13 years old.
Russell had been featured alongside Taylor on Bravo’s The real Housewives of Beverly Hillsand their relationhsip woes were documented on the show. On Tuesday morning, Bravo issued a statement over the news. They sent out their sympathy for the family. Taylor filed for divorce from Russell last month. The couple got married in 2005 and have one daughter together. Taylor claimed Russell called her names, grabbed her and pushed her. She told sources she felt like she was dying inside because she didn’t know what she could do for her estranged husband.
