A very calm yet agitated Oprah Winfrey told sources that she is not a lesbian, not even by a little bit. Her long personal connection with Gayle King has sparked certain rumors that they are gay. But Oprah Winfrey totally denies the allegations in an interview with Barbara Walters. However, she did have to admit she was getting tired of hearing the rumors going around about it. Persistent gossip to the contrary annoys her she said explaining that if it were true she would not try to hide it. That’s not the way I run my life she told people. What you see is what you get. And people have come to know me just like that. She speaks her mind and has her opinions.
Asked to describe her relationship with King, Oprah Winfrey call her the mother she never had the sister everybody wants, and the friend that everyone deserves. She choked up saying those words simply because she doesn’t know a better person. They are best friends. There is not a thing gay in that phrase at all. Oprah Winfrey will end her daytime talk show in the spring of next year and will be launching a cable channel the Oprah Winfrey Network. The new venture has given her moments of panic. She would wake up in the middle of the night literally like clutching her chest asking herself what has she done?
And now with the vicious rumors circulating that she is gay is just ridiculous but enough to make her have even more stress placed on her and all she wants to concentrate on is the network. This isn’t going to be easy but Oprah has always been up to challenges whatever they might be.
