Everyone that is up in the morning knows about Regis Philbin who is a talk show host according to sources is going to have a blood clot removed next week. The 78 year old is the co host for the Live with Regis and Kelly says the pain in his leg makes it very difficult for him to walk.
He had hip replacement surgery in December and then a triple heart bypass surgery in 2007. Sources say that while on the show last week he commented that if you get a new hip you have to continue to walk, but he admits he can’t walk very long. He explained that he would have the blood clot removed next week but didn’t give any more details at that time. His co host tried to lighten the environment and teased that he was the human game of Operation.
Regis has been on the show for a very long time and according to sources doesn’t plan on going anywhere. His health hasn’t been the greatest however he has been doing shows and not missing any of them. There are those people who think he is a determined man.
Many people watch this show everyday that it is on, and the ratings for this show are very high. They have had many guests as well and they were not just nobody;s they were popular musicians and celebrities on the show. They keep a good record for their show and Regis loves being one of the host for the show, he claims he doesn’t want to miss out on any of them.
