According to sources Swiss officials will render a decision soon as to whether or not Polanski will be extradited back to the United States for charges happening in the seventies. Apparently the lifetime achievement award winner fled the USA just days before his sentencing a
nd for the past 8 months has been under house arrest in Switzerland.
The USA wants Polanski to be extradited and brought back to face the charges that are in front of him however the Swiss officials have not come to that conclusion as of yet. However, it wont be long now and according to other sources its not as though the man has suffered much over the past eight months being under house arrest there. He has access to his entire home and it a is chalet in a resort, a far cry from paying for a crime he committed so long ago.
This is something that has been ongoing for the past eight months where he fled so long ago after having sex with a thirteen year old girl and the charges still awaits him in the United States. Although his bail in according to Swiss officials there is over four million dollars. The man is now recently in his seventies however age has nothing to do with the crime against Polanski. He was arrested in Switzerland in September and after all things was place3d under house arrest there. Now everyone is wondering what will happen to Polanski, will he be extradited or will the Swiss officials go against the USA and keep him.
