Orlando Bloom Lets World Know About Struggle With Dyslexia

According to sources Orlando is coming forward with his struggle with Dyslexia in hopes of maybe helping others who have it. The star acknowledged that he was really pretty smart and as a child always knew he wasn’t stupid. He felt like a smart kid he just felt like he fell short in getting educated.

The 33 year old actor offered some kind words especially to children who were struggling also with Dyslexia. You are part of a very special group of people. Something like a club. And it’s a gift and don’t let anyone ever tell you that you’re not good enough, those were Orlando’s words of advice to kids. Don’t let people tell you that you can’t do this or that because you are stupid, you aren’t stupid you are special.

The big screen star who was diagnosed with the learning disability when he was seven said intense preparation over time has helped him actually overcome dyslexia. He also noted that his good looks helped him in acting auditions. I’m not too ugly, he joked and that has helped. Having dyslexia also makes you stronger when you have to get through other trying things. Anyone can accomplish any thing that is trying to hold them back and success stories are everywhere for people to see. Dyslexia doesn’t have to run your life or ruin your life, remember you aren’t stupid you are part of a special club that are just different. Orlando is proud to be a part of that club and not very many people knew that he even had dyslexia for a long time.
