The supermodel Naomi Campbell is wanted for questioning after the assault on her limo driver. Naomi is being accused of punching her driver, and leaving him with bumps and bruises after a confrontation in Manhattan.
Police want to question the supermodel after she slapped and punched the 27 year old driver. Campbell fled the car and the driver contacted the authorities. According to sources a spokesperson for Naomi is saying that the police should not be so quick to pass judgment and that Naomi will cooperate voluntarily, and that there’s more to this story that hasn’t been reviewed yet.
This isn’t the first time however, that the supermodel Naomi Campbell has been accused of having a very violent type of behavior. Back in 2006 she was literally arrested after hitting her housekeeper with a crystal studded blackberry. In 2008, the supermodel was sentenced to 200 hours of community service and paid a $4500.00 fine for assaulting two police officers at London’s Heathrow airport too.
According to authorities this type of behavior from the supermodel should not be tolerated and considering the fact that she has had other incidents with a violent behavior she should have stronger consequences this time. When is it going to be enough in that she won’t behave like this any longer?
The supermodel has yet to tell her side of the story although the limo driver was very specific about what happened and used a lot of details. It would probably be in the supermodel’s best interest if she goes through with talking to the police. Her fleeing the way she did only makes her look like she really is guilty of her violent actions and behavior. The limo driver told authorities exactly what happened and if Naomi is innocent of assault then why did she run?
