According to sources Vince Neil was arrested in Las Vegas for drinking while under the influence of alcohol. The 49 year old rocker was being held on bond pending a court appearance after his arrest early Monday. It wasn’t really clear if he has an attorney or not.
Being arrested in Las Vegas made it a bit difficult to perform somewhere else if the he was indeed going to a gig of some type. Neil is the guy in front of the band singing for the heavy metal group Motley Crue. His fourth wife and Neil live in Las Vegas. Here, he has tattoo shops, bars and clubs and other establishments including a hotel. Neil released a solo album not long ago.
Although there isn’t a lot of information about the DUI sources say he did exceed the legal speeding zone where he was caught. In addition, he put up a bit of an argument with the authorities.
He is also coming out with a new book as well as his solo album but they are both called the same thing and both have the same title. Motley crue was popular in the 1970’s and had a lot of hits, they were in fact a heavy metal band that often dressed like “hippies” in those times. They also wore chains and other items such as heavy necklaces and pierced ears.
The group was one of the more popular groups that were heavy metal in the United States. And their music is still sold in department stores and music stores too.
