Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth met about a year ago on the Tybee Island of Georgia while they were filming the movie, The Last Song. Chemistry sparked right away when Liam opened the door for Miley. At that point, Miley was shocked because no guy had ever opened the door for her. Miley was impressed immediately. In fact, she was so impressed that she told the director, “He’s got the job. He’s hot and he opened the door. Excellent.”
Once filming began, Miley stated, “We were both like, I liked him a little bit, he liked me a little bit but it was awkward.”
Miley won over Liam’s parents pretty easily. Liam told E! “Yeah, they loved her. It was really cool to show Miley where I am from and how I grew up, and it’s a completely different world to where she’s from. We don’t have shopping centres or traffic lights or anything like that, where I live at least.” Miley is from Tennessee and Liam is from Australia.
Liam, 20 and Miley, 17 stars in the movie, The Last Song where their characters Ronnie (Miley) and Will (Liam) fall in love. Liam admitted that the first kiss was the hardest but after that kissing became fun for both of them.
