According to sources Cameron Douglas was arrested and denied bail. He was caught in January as well selling drugs. The overall bail this time was over one million dollars. His father Michael Douglas did not attend the hearing. He knows his son is going down a road he doesn’t want to go down but he has to learn. I mean Cameron Douglas is 31 years old, he’s beyond learning but not beyond help.
There are those that would like to see him go through drug rehabilitation as he was addicted to heroine and not getting any source of help he is probably still doing it. Amazingly, Michael didn’t attend the hearing as stated above as if there’s a wall of some type between him and his son. Cameron grew up in a dysfunctional family however the parents will not admit that the children went without anything or that they were abused in any way. Regardless that is no excuse for Cameron’s actions and maybe that’s why Michael Douglas doesn’t acknowledge his son when he gets into trouble like this. When Michael was asked did he love his son Cameron he said yes, only he is 31 years old and needs to be a man and get a life. That’s tough love and sometimes that works. Although there are other times when it will push someone over the edge.
