Michael Douglas At End Of Cancer Treatment

Michael DouglasAccording to sources Michael Douglas continues his battle against throat cancer, his eight week chemotherapy and radiation treatment program is about to come to an end. Douglas who revealed the cancer diagnosis in August, has only one cancer treatment left.

Although the treatments will have come to an end, the actor’s recovery is reportedly expected to take at least another six weeks. Following the treatments Douglas will then undergo periodic checkups. While chemotherapy and radiation has taken its toll on the Oscar winner, it hasn’t affected him when it comes to getting out and about.

Last month he hit the red carpet at a theater in New York City for the premiere of the new film Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, and earlier this week he was photographed while walking his daughter to school.

Michael Douglas is one of those actors that you just can’t keep down. He has been in several movies and has a lot of credits under his belt. There are those fans that are standing behind the actor and know that he will get better and continue on in making awesome films. He is a great actor and it shows when you see him on the big screen! When he was diagnosed with cancer he didn’t let it take control of him nor did he let it slow him down. Everyone knew about it and that he had it of course but they also knew he was still out and about doing the things he still loves to do and acting is one of those things.
