It is a sad time for the members of the Osmond family. According to sources Marie Osmond’s son committed suicide on Friday night. The death happened when Michael her son jumped from his downtown apartment building in Los Angeles.
His family was devastated to say the least and never even seen any signs. They are however asking for privacy from the public and they aren’t saying a whole lot about it. Apparently in 2007 Michael entered rehab for depression but was fine when he was released.
According to other sources Michael Blosil was always cheerful and outgoing and his family stated that Michael was an amazing and brilliant young man. He showed great courage two years ago by working through his issues and everyone at this point thought he was doing great. They often told him how proud of him they were. Michael was only 18 years old and had his entire life ahead of him.
Although the press has been all over this, Marie, Michael’s mother has asked for added privacy because of the circumstances and the reputation of the entire Osmond family. Family members could not believe it when they heard the news and they are a big family.
Had they seen the signs they said they would’ve tried to help Michael but whatever was bothering him he didn’t show or talk about. It’s a sad thing when someone so young takes his or her own life and we often wonder what the reasoning was. If you have comments about this tragedy or feedback feel free to let us know.
