It has been reported that Lindsay Lohan is being investigated for an alleged connection to a missing necklace, according to police in Los Angeles. The necklace in question is worth $2500 and vanished from a Venice, California jewelry store which is located close to Lindsay Lohan’s new house.
A search warrant was issued for the actress home on Tuesday however the police indicated that the necklace had been returned before the warrant was executed. According to Lindsay Lohan she claimed the necklace was loaned to her and that she gave it back to a stylist, who in turn did not return the item on time. The source also claims that the actress also said that the unidentified stylist returned the item to authorities on Tuesday.
The source literally quoted Lindsay Lohan directly saying she didn’t have any part in the non returning on time. The current investigation is Lohan’s latest issue with the law. The actress is also currently being investigated for an alleged skirmish with a technician from the Betty Ford Clinic where she spent three months. Lindsay Lohan is currently on probation for a 2007 drunken driving case. She is due in court on February 25th for her next hearing.
