Levi Johnston the former fiancee’ of Bristol Palin, will follow in Sarah Palin’s shoes and run for the mayoral election of the Alaskan town of Wasilla.
According to sources the 20 year old father of the grandson of Sarah Palin the republican vice presidential candidate for the 2008 election in the us, will run for mayor in his hometown as part of a reality television show. Wasilla with a population of over ten thousand is were Mrs. Palin got her start in politics, moving up from city council to mayor before winning election as Alaska’s governor in 2006. Levi Johnston whose career so far has included stints in the Alaskan oil fields and posing nude in playgirl, and this is serious politics.
The bottom line is that as far as Levi is concerned if you live in a town and things are not going the way you want them to in that town, and you aren’t happy with the town; then you try to change those things. Although he declined to talk about the specific changes that he would like to make it was obvious he has his heart into the position.
The 19 year old Bristol Palin broke off her engagement for the second time with Levi claiming that he has more efforts and is obsessed with being in the spotlight. And when asked whether he believed people would take the run for office seriously the rep for Mr. Johnston stated that people questioned Jesus Christ so he didn’t care about the mortals questioning Levi Johnston. This comment was a bit over the top in the concept that Mr. Johnston is still just a man. His run for office might be a good change however there are obstacles he will have to overcome as well.
