According to sources Levi Johnston hasn’t decided whether he’ll run for mayor of his Alaska hometown as a Democrat or a Republican. Levi Johnston, who is the father of Sarah Palin’s grandson , plans to run for the office in Wasilla as part of a reality television show. He said on Friday that he’s been talking to residents about his candidacy and is working on building a platform, although he didn’t offer any specifics.
Palin, the Republican vice presidential nominee in 2008, served as mayor of Wasilla from 1996-2002. She was elected governor in 2006. There haven’t been any other sources that have had any initial conversations with either party. The timing is right for him to run and yet, there hasn’t been any type of real response as to which side he prefers. He is essentially getting everything lined up and those loose ends tied up as well.
Although other sources say that Levi Johnston says the appearance on the HBO show would be his last interview for some time. He is devoting a lot of his time on getting around to knowing the people and how it will affect them if he should run for office. He doesn’t want
