In the turmoil and the midst of all the chaos going on in Haiti, the award winning actress is very seriously considering adopting a child from there. She spoke about how much it would mean to her and something she really wants to do, however how far from a publicity stunt could this be. What happened in Haiti was terrible and a tragedy where people and residents are still picking up their lives off of the ground literally.
Kristen recently talked to Access Hollywood and told them about the awful tragedy and how she felt about the entire Haiti experience that is going on. Many people are homeless and there are children in Haiti without parents but there are also entire families in need. Why not bring an entire family over from Haiti to really help the relief effort? Critics are wondering what the concept is behind the fact that she wants to adopt a child from Haiti and why now?
Kristen responds by saying she can’t think of anything else except for adopting a small child that has no where to go or no parents to help it grow the way it needs too. She also reported that it wouldn’t surprise her one bit if that wasn’t the road she would take in the near future. She is a full time actress and has won many awards. So would she raise the child or would a nanny? It doesn’t really make sense in one perspective but on the other hand if she is truly being sincere then wouldn’t her career come to a stand still? The child would need a lot of attention. She also stated if she could be a mother to every child in Haiti she would.
