Kate Gosselin Lands New TV Deal

Kate Gosselin has landed a new show on TLC plus several specials as well.

TLC is the same channel that hosted Kate’s old reality show, Jon and Kate Plus 8. Now, her show, Kate Plus 8, will air specials.

In November of last year, Jon wanted to legally stop his kids from appearing on TV. Jon and the TV network, TLC, eventually came to a mutual decision.

Kate Plus 8 revolves around her life as a single mom and is scheduled to air its first special in June of this year.

Her new TV show, Twist of Kate, centers around Kate who will be profiling women and their struggles. The show is based on letters that Kate receives from women who are inspired by her story. Kate has been through the birth of her eight children, a public divorce and life as a single mother.

The show will have Kate in the homes of these women and spending one-on-one time with them. She will also have hands on experience with the women such as taking on the role of a waitress.

Kate tells USA Today, “I want to be out there learning from others, helping to provide insight whenever I can, though I don’t consider myself an expert on anything.”

I think that is was a great idea to have “Kate plus 8″. I was talking to a co-worker of mine from DISH and we have both been watching the show since it first aired on TV. The kids have grown so much I don”t want to miss them grow anymore. I have to give it to Kate for being a single mom of 8 kids and working this show the best she can. I”m going to continue to watch the show “Kate plus 8″.
