According to sources Johnny Depp’s portrayal of Jack Sparrowin Pirates of the Caribbean was good enough for an Oscar nomination, but the actor says Disney was less than thrilled.
Johnny Depp talked about if in an interview with rocker Patti Smith for the January edition of Vanity Fair Magazine. Johnny Depp said Disney couldn’t stand his Sparrow and one person there even asked if Sparrow was gay. Depp told the Disney executive all my characters are gay and said that really made me nervous. Depp’s next role in the tourrist movie with Angelina Jolie. It opens in December.
Johnny Depp said he felt sorry for the way the paparazzi hunted Angelina Jolie. And had to be careful that photographers didn’t catch them too close together so rumors wouldn’t get started about them. The only thing they did together was act and make a movie together. Jack Sparrow is one of the main characters in Pirates of the Caribbean. It will be released by Walt Disney Pictures. It is an action and adventure and the rating isn’t available yet.
The only thing Johnny Depp or Jack Sparrow as he is known as has a lot of friends and some that happen to be women but that doesn’t matter to him. What does bother him is the fact that rumors get started so easy and there isn’t anything a person can do when that happens.
