According to reports and confirmation Jewel and her husband Ty Murray will soon have an extra set of hands around the house. Small hands that is. They are expecting a child their own small bundle of joy. The singer told sources that she found out the good news on her first day of work on her new Bravo reality series Going Platinum.
She told sources she took a pregnancy test and it was positive. The 36 year old singer told other sources that it was hard keeping the secret because she was worried she would get sick on the set and everyone would know or at least figure out she was pregnant. The couple were married in 2008 however they have been trying to have a baby for two years.
Jewel admitted she is a workaholic, so she had to learn to slow down some and take care of herself in a different way. In addition, to her new Bravo series with former American Idol judge Kara, Jewel is going to work hard on her second children’s album and the couple is also in the middle of turning a guest room on their two thousand acre ranch into a nursery for the baby. She is living for the moment right now but she did tell sources she wants to enjoy her pregnancy to the fullest. Ty Murray is the happy dad to be and he is excited and proud at the same time. They both claim they are lucky. They have been trying so long for this and it is finally going to happen!
