Reports say that the actor portrayed the heart warming beau in “Eat, Pray, Love” is going to be the bad guy once again. After several months of simply rumors, the Spanish actor, 42, has confirmed with sources that he has been cast as the villain for the upcoming 23rd James Bond film.
He will be acting along side the returning Daniel Craig as James Bond and Judi Dench. He told the source that he was really excited about being a part of the famous 007 franchise, during a recent interview. He told them his parents took him to watch all of them so to play that is going to be awesome.
After the casting confirmation, Bardem, who became a father to a baby boy in January, was unable to reveal additional information about his latest role. He did say they chose me to play this man, but I cannot give out any more details. The next Bond film is going to be phenomenal.
There will be a lot of action in the film and he did say that the other characters were all top notch in his mind. Working with the returning British secret agent, with Sam Mendes directing, Javier said it didn’t get any better than that! He did confirm that the commercial release will be November 9th, 2012.
