There are reports claiming that Jaime Pressly was arrested late Wednesday night. According to sources the former My Name Is Earl star was sopped in California after committing a traffic violation. A field sobriety test was reportedly then performed on the 33 year old actress.
And according to her booking sheet, she was taken to the Santa Monica jail, where she was held on fifteen thousand dollar bail. The actress didn’t disagree with the conclusion and there was no response to get any type of comment from her representatives or attorney.
Too often, popular people get off for things like this and its good to know that the California police don’t treat people special. Although she shouldn’t have been drinking and driving no matter who she is. She of all people should have known better. There’s no comment on whether she is still in jail or if her bond was paid or not.
She is a mother as well as an actress and this isn’t the right way of teaching children how to be either. She will get out soon enough if she isn’t out already and then she will have to go to court. According to sources she failed the sobriety test and that’s how she ended up getting arrested for the DUI.
