The British star Emma Thompson has been enshrined in concrete on Friday, as she received a star on Hollywood Blvd. The 51 year old actress was presented with a star on the walk of Fame on Friday only a couple of weeks before the release of the movie Nanny McPhee Returns. She is starring in yet another film on the big screen. It should go over well in theaters everywhere.
A few of her friends and old boyfriends were also in attendance when she received her star as well. Not to mention a baby pig was also there with Emma. All posed for great pictures including the baby pig. Thompson also had a pint of beer on her new piece of terrazzo real estate. She won an academy award in 1992 for her leading role as Margaret Schlegel on Howard’s End. Again she received an award for best adapted screenplay in 1996. And she also received a best actress nomination too.
Hugh Laurie was also present when she got her star on Hollywood’s walk of fame the two dated for awhile during her time in attendance in England’s University of Cambridge.
Her role in Nanny McPhee Returns will be phenomenal as with her other starring roles on the big screen. Some people are anticipating the release of this movie in the next few weeks. The director is hoping it will go over well in theaters. Its magical and mystical moments provide a drama and comedy for viewers to see. From pigs to a flying motorcycle you will find them both in the movie with Emma Thompson. This movie should be one of her better performances.
