Hank Williams Jr Out For Good

Hank Williams JrThe verdict is official, hank Williams Jr. will no longer do the intro to Monday night football on ESPN. Each side claimed Thursday it had decided to part ways after Williams’ tune opened “Monday Night Football” for more than two decades.
The network pulled the intro for this week’s game after the country singer crossed the line in things that he said and an analogy he used about Barack Obama. Williams also issued a statement Monday night insisting that his remarks were misunderstood, then apologized on Tuesday.
But after thinking about it, Hank Williams took an even different approach to the situation. ESPN told sources they just decided to part ways. However, in a statement to the press Hank Williams Jr, changed his mind.
He told them that after reading hundreds of emails, he has made his own decision. By pulling my opening on October 3rd, you ESPN steeped on my Toes of the First Amendment Freedom of Speech, so therefore Me, My Song, and all my rowdy friends are out of here. It has been a great run. He made the ultimate decision to leave before ESPN could say or do anything else to the singer.
